OK, not quite.  

The monthly greenway ride is Friday 8/21 at noon. It's guest hosted this week by Andrew Meeker from the City of Greenville and Ty Houck from Greenville Rec. Enjoy the scenery, learn what's new around town, and bug them about why YOUR street doesn't have bike lanes, share-the-road signage, and a police officer stationed on the corner, ticketing motorists who ride too close to you.

 OK, don't do the last thing. Please. But do contact your elected officials and tell them you support trail and greenway projects, complete streets, and other ways of making Greenville a more connected, more liveable community. Get invoved. That's the best way to help these guys maintain the momentum for things like the Swamp Rabbit Trail and better bike infrastructure.

Speaking of trails, Bikeville now has links to Google maps of all of the on- and off-road trails in the city. Check it.
