Showers Pass is headquartered in Portland and has its roots in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest—they know that all-weather gear is a must if you're a bike commuter, cyclotourist, messenger, or simply a dedicated road or mountain rider. They don't make a full line of apparel, instead choosing to focus on making the best all-weather outwear available. The flagship pieces—like the Elite 2.0 jacket—are made from tri-layer eVent fabric, which is not only ridiculously waterproof but also highly breathable, which allows your sweat to escape twice as fast as conventional waterproof fabrics, thereby keeping you dry from the inside out, so to speak. That kind of breathability makes them great for any time of year. Layer underneath them and wear them all winter, or wear them to keep your usual kit (whether lycra or khaki) out of spring showers.

Showers Pass also believes that comfort is created by a garment that is breathable and well-ventilated in addition to being waterproof, so their entire line features sufficient venting to keep you cool. Every jacket—from the Elite 2.0 to the $99 Club Pro—features nice touches like double zippers and fleece-lined collars, as well as realistic sizing. You can see them for yourself here, now.
