All three of our trike manufacturers have announced big news recently. I'm going to go in alphabetical order, to avoid playing favorites, since we love them all equally.
First is Catrike, who announced their new, second-generation spaceframe featuring an adjustable seat as part of their updated Villager and Trail models. Not only do these models get a spanking new frame and an upgraded drivetrain, but also 14 and 20 degrees of adjustability in their seats. They're both even more compelling cruisers now.
Next is Greenspeed, whose US distributor has just gotten the first shipment of the new GT1 and GT3 folding trikes, featuring a new color (metallic green) and more value for the money than they've ever offered before. These are both outstanding steel, indirect-steer touring trikes. The GT1, which now retails for $1890, now features a 24-speed drivetrain shifted by Shimano Ultegra levers. Its ability to fold makes it unique among trikes at this price.
Finally, TerraTrike has made two big new announcements in recent days. First came the refinements to the popular entry-level Rover—a new single speed model, a cleaner look and an easier boom adjustment. Next came the Rambler, an all-new design that you'll have to read about to appreciate. We're excited about it and all of the other innovative trike offerings coming to market this year.
