The Breezer Freedom
In our shop you'll find internal hub drivetrains, efficient generator hubs driving sophisticated German lighting systems, baskets, racks, bags, lights, locks, bells, fat tires and fenders . . . everything you'll need to get mobile. If you just need information, advice, or encouragement, we have that, too.
Here are some of the city bikes we carry:
- Breezer — Joe Breeze is one of the pioneers of mountain biking and mountain bike design. He made a name for himself in the early days of the now-booming sport and has been a trend-setter ever since. A few years ago he made a big decision--to devote his expertise and energy to building a company that was solely based on making great bikes for transportation and practical riding. Breezer's great lineup of bikes was the result. Read the Breezer story. Ride the bikes at TTR
- Electra — Electra makes cool, body-friendly bikes in a staggering array of configurations and colors. Their foot-forward geometry allows you to ride comfortably and put your feet down while stopped, and their diverse lineup of bikes ensures that you can find one to suit your style. We liked the ride and versatility of their Townie line so much we chose it as our main rental bike. Test ride an Electra--or rent one on the Swamp Rabbit--and discover the possibilities.
- Dahon — Provides a line of folding bicycles that are stylish and functional. We stock the compact 20-inch wheeled versions and the full-size 26" models like the Jack and Cadenza. These are great if space is at a premium at home or at the office, or if you're just looking for something different and very, very cool.
- Surly — Surly makes bikes and frames for all different uses: 'cross, road, track, touring, 26 or 29er MTB, whatever. What they all have in common—in addition to awesomeness—is CroMo frames, versatility (braze-ons and bosses for racks, fenders and all different brakes) and the ability to use fat tires. They make a great platform for a city bike or a commuter.
Other lines that we sell, like Fuji and RANS, also feature some compelling and noteworthy city bikes.
